Madden McFarland is hiring! We are seeking an Interior Designer with a minimum of 4 years of experience in residential remodeling and/or new construction to join our talented team. Candidate will design, present, manage and execute large and small scale residential projects, from initial concept to construction and installation of interiors. Our outstanding staff will support you, your client and your project from start to finish by placing and tracking orders, receiving and inspecting all items, handling billing, customer service and more.
We can offer you a collaborative work environment with 6 designers, a wonderful, supportive team, as well as a beautiful showroom and design studio with resources from our extensive vendor offerings. We provide professional development through our weekly presentations from industry-wide representatives and the opportunity to travel to High Point Furniture Market.
What We’re Looking For:
A Candidate with excellent organizational, communication and sales skills to successfully manage design projects.
A self-starter with the ability to cultivate positive client relationships.
4+ years of professional interior design experience, with a strong residential portfolio.
Degree in Interior Design or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Candidate Responsibilities:
Lead residential design projects from initial client consultation through final installation.
Work with architects, contractors and builders. on remodeling and new construction projects.
Make selections: hard surfaces, cabinetry, plumbing, lighting fixtures, paint and finishes.
Develop space plans and furniture layouts and source all furnishings from our extensive vendor network.
Manage project budgets and timelines.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
