Denise is often the first person a customer sees when entering the boutique, so she is attuned to customer needs and knows most of her customers by name. “I love connecting customers with our designers, whether it is for an interior design project, a design question, or to simply walk them through the showroom to discuss the firm’s offerings and capabilities.  “I have seen the benefits of working with a design professional and it’s wonderful to watch the client develop this same appreciation over the course of a project.”  Denise partners with Mary as a Lead Buyer for the showroom and also spends many hours a week on daily operations, client relations and marketing. Following graduation from the University of Kansas, and living away from Kansas City for several years, Denise joined the firm in 2002. As the fourth of six children, she grew up as a facilitator and nurturer. These gifts naturally translate to her role within the company, as she gets things done, and brings people together.
